David Scheibel of Bird Island is President and one of three local voting Governors of Norfolk Wind Energy, LLC.
David, John Jacobs, Doug Scheibel and seven others organized Norfolk Wind Energy, LLC in 2007. The group
partnered with National Wind with the goal to develop a 40 MW C-BED project south of Bird Island and Olivia.
David owns MN West Ag Services, LLC an agricultural market consulting business and also farms.
